Sept. 10, 2019 – For the first time since 2016, a North Central College women's volleyball player has been named College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Player of the Week, as
Reagan Raymer was honored by the conference on Tuesday.
Raymer led the Cardinals with 48 kills (3.00 per set) and 14 service aces while hitting .279 over the week to lead North Central to a 3-1 record, already tying last season's win total in the process.
Raymer tallied double-digit kills in three of the four matches this week, including a career-high 17 in the 3-1 win over Monmouth College on Sep.t 7. Eight of her 14 service aces also came in the win against the Fighting Scots, ranking fifth on the program's single-match record book.
Averaging 3.45 points per set so far this season, Raymer ranks fifth among all CCIW individuals, while ranking seventh averaging 0.55 service aces per set.
North Central returns to the court on Tuesday, Sept. 10, traveling to Chicago, Illinois to take on non-conference opponent Illinois Institute of Technology at 7 p.m. Links to live in-game coverage are available
