Feb. 24, 2020 - After a week that saw the North Central College men's volleyball team notch two College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) victories, freshman
Jared Moser was named the conference's hitter of the week, the conference announced Monday.
The Cardinals have been on a tear and Moser led the way for them last week, recording 11 kills in a 3-0 win against North Park University on Thursday followed by a 12-kill performance against Greenville University on Saturday. He hit 0.386 over the two matches, also recording three service aces on top of that.
This is the first instance of Moser winning the award and the fourth-straight week a Cardinal has been given the award this season.
The Cardinals face their first test within the CCIWÂ and put their seven game win streak on the line on Wednesday, facing no. 12 Carthage College at 7 pm.Â
