Oct. 11, 2021 - North Central College quarterback Luke Lehnen has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Football Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 9, receiving the honor for the first time as a collegian.

Lehnen was selected after helping lead the No. 1-ranked Cardinals to a 64-13 victory at Carthage College on Saturday. The exercise science major completed 18 of 25 passes for a season-high 353 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 30 yards and a pair of scores. Lehnen has topped the 300-yard mark three times in five games this season and ran for multiple touchdowns for the second straight week.

Currently, Lehnen is the NCAA Division III national leader in yards per pass attempt (12.8) while ranking second in yards per completion (18.7) and fourth in passing efficiency (205.2). He leads the CCIW in passing yards (1,532) and completion percentage (68.3) and has thrown 12 touchdown passes while rushing for 223 yards and four TDs.
