2021 Men's Soccer CoSIDA Academic All-District Teams

Sid Marquardt and
Aidan Westerberg were named to the 2021 NCAA Division III CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, nominated and voted upon by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA).Â
The 2021 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All- America ballot.
Marquardt, a Sophomore from Hartland, Wis earned a 3.32 GPA as an Accounting major. Marquardt has posted a 14-1-1 record, 0.38 goals against average and a 0.896 save percentage this season in net for the Cardinals. He leads the country and CCIW in shutouts with 11, he leads the CCIW in goals against average and save percentage.Â
Westerberg, a Sophomore from Belvidere, Ill. earned a 4.00 GPA as a Bio Chem major. Westerberg has started 17 games this season for the Cardinals scoring four goals and tallying five assists.Â
Marquard and Westerberg were named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) All-Conference this season, Marquardt was a first team honoree and Westerberg was a second team honoree.Â
The Cardinals will face the Loras College Duhawks in the First Round of the NCAA men's soccer Tournament Saturday. The game is set to start at 1:30 pm CST on the campus of St. Olaf University. For more information about the First and Second Round, Click HERE.Â
