Sept. 13, 2021 - North Central College running back Ethan Greenfield has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Football Player of the Week for the weeks of Sept. 4 and 11, earning the distinction for the second time in his collegiate career. 

Greenfield was selected on the strength of his performance in Saturday's season-opening 64-7 victory over then-No. 21-ranked Aurora University at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. Greenfield ran for a game-high 137 yards on 16 rushing attempts and scored three touchdowns, eclipsing the 100-yard mark for the 15th time as a collegian. He now ranks third in the program's history with 40 rushing touchdowns.

Ranked No. 4 by D3football.com, the Cardinals travel to face No. 5-ranked Wheaton College on Saturday in the annual Battle for the Little Brass Bell. Kickoff at McCully Stadium is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.  Click HERE for live coverage options.
