Sept. 14, 2021 - The North Central College men's soccer team earned their first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week award as Sophomore Midfielder Aidan Westerberg was named Offensive Player of the week for the first time in his young career. 

Westerberg earned this award for his performance this week that led the Cardinals to a 3-0-0 record. Westerberg netted a goal and an assist to push the Cardinals past Concordia University (Wis.) on Sept. 8th. On Sept. 12th, Westerberg scored again and recorded his second assist of the season as he connected with Jack Fairwood to secure a 2-0 victory over Wartburg College. 

The Cardinals are on the road again as they take on the Lake Forest College Foresters on Wednesday. North Central looks to win their sixth consecutive game. The game is set to begin at 5:00 pm inside Farewell Field.
