D3Soccer.com 2021 Men's Soccer All-America Teams

Jan. 27, 2022 - After an impressive first season in net for the Cardinals, North Central College men's soccer player, Sid Marquardt, was honored by D3Soccer.com as a Third Team All-America player this afternoon.

Marquardt, a Sophomore from Hartland, Wis. , posted a 14-2-1 record this season helping the Cardinals to the best record in program history, a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championship and their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance. Marquardt leads the country in Shutouts (12), fourth in Goals Against Average (.461), and eighth in Save Pct. (.875) while leading the CCIW in all of those categories. 

Marquardt was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District team while being on the United Soccer Coaches' First Team All-Region Team and Second Team All-American teams. 

The Cardinals finished the season with an 18-2-1 (6-1-1 CCIW) record this season, the best in program history while claiming a CCIW Championship and their first appearance into the NCAA Tournament. For the NCTV17 men's soccer season recap, click HERE.
