Sept. 12, 2022 - The North Central College football program has claimed its first College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week award for 2022, as linebacker BJ Adamchik has been recognized as the conference's Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for games played Sept. 10.

Adamchik set a new collegiate career high with a team-best 12 tackles (11 solo) in the Cardinals' season-opening 56-12 victory at Wabash College (Indiana) Saturday. North Central limited the Little Giants to 257 yards and held Wabash scoreless for its final six drives of the game. 

Now ranked No. 1 nationally by D3football.com, North Central opens College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) play Saturday, traveling to Kenosha, Wisconsin to face Carthage College. Kickoff at Art Keller Field is set for 1:00 p.m. Click HERE for the full 2022 schedule.
