LISLE, Ill (Oct. 1, 2023) - North Central College women's tennis head coach Ryan Jump earned his 100th career win at the helm of the women's team in the Cardinals' 9-0 sweep over Augustana College on Sunday afternoon at Benet Academy Tennis Courts.

Kensington Payne and Anastasia Bozovic captured the first win of the day with an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles. The Cardinals' No. 1 doubles duo of Abigail Penados and Natalie Bassett picked up an 8-4 win before Kate Herlihy and Nina Patience finished off the doubles sweep with an 8-6 win at No. 3.

Herlihy took care of business at No. 5 to claim the first singles win with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Bassett clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2. Penados, Payne, Patience, and Kayla McSweeney all secured wins in straight sets as well to complete their seventh sweep this season. 

Jump is now just three wins away from becoming the program's all-time win leader for a head coach. On Saturday, Oct. 7th, North Central visits North Park University at 10 a.m. before taking on Elmhurst at 2 p.m.
