Oct. 3rd, 2023 – Max Svienty has claimed his second Conference College of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the week on the season. Svienty has claimed the award for the third time in his career for the North Central College Cardinals. 

 Svienty claims this award after being the highest Division III finisher in the highly competitive Louisville Classic as he placed eighth in a race filled with Division I and Division II teams. He would run a lifetime best of 23 minutes, and 51 seconds over the 8,000 meter race and also helped the Cardinals to a fifth place finish as a team. 

Svienty and the Cardinals will run at the Augustana Interregional Invitational in Rock Island, Illinois on October 14th.
