Kenosha, Wis. (Nov. 14, 2023) - The North Central College women's wrestling keeps their streak of dominating opponents by defeating Carthage College 38-3.
 
The Cardinals started the dual 5-0 as Amber Turner won by forfeit in the 101-pound match. After a double forfeit at 109, Angelina Graff dropped to Natalie Majer by a 8-5 decision. Janessa George (123) took one minute to pin Koressa Allgeyer and give the Cardinals five more points. Amani Jones (130) followed up by pinning Karla Topete in 41 seconds. In the 136-pound bout, Haley Vann faced Nadia Flores, pinning her in one minute and 20 seconds. Halle White (143) defeated Jennifer Villagomez with a 10-0 technical fall. Sarina Bertram gave North Central four more points with a technical fall (10-0) over Basil Kiracofe. The Cardinals added 10 more points as Caitlyn Flaherty (170) and Caroline Ward (191) all received wins by forfeit, giving the North Central a 38-3 win.
 
The Cardinals are on a hiatus till Nov. 21 when they send wrestlers to the NWCA All-Star Classic in University Park, Penn. Matches are set to start at 7 pm (EST) inside Rec Hall.
