2022-23 Women's Basketball All-CCIW Teams

Feb. 20, 2023 - North Central College women's basketball player Natalie Stavropoulos earned second team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honors for her 2022-23 season, the organization released on Monday. All-conference selections are voted on by the eight head coaches in the CCIW.

Stavropoulos finished the year ninth in the conference in scoring with 12.4 points per game. She also ranked fifth in free throw percentage at 74% while shooting the second most free throws in the league. The senior led the CCIW in assists with 92, averaging 3.8 per contest. On November 26th, she racked up a career high 23 points over Concordia Wisconsin with 13 made free throws in the Cardinals' 81-73 victory over the Falcons. Her 111 made free throws this season rank ninth in program history for made free throws in a single-season.

Junior Megan McClure earned the RESPECT Award for the Cardinals. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.

The Cardinals finished the 2022-23 season with a 6-18 overall record and a 3-13 record in conference play.
