CCIW Release

Feb. 27, 2023 - After helping the North Central College men's volleyball team to a 2-0 week, junior setter, Tyler Donovan was named this week's College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Setter of the Week. The CCIW announced its selections on Monday.

The Cardinals turned in two 3-0 sweeps this week, the first over Trine University on Wednesday before opening up conference play with a win over Augustana College on Saturday. 

Donovan averaged 9.33 assists, 2.17 digs, and 1.33 blocks per set this week while leading the team in total digs (13) and blocks (8). His four blocks in each match tied his season high of blocks in a three-set match. Donovan leads the conference with his overall assists per set average (10.20) and ranks third in the nation. 

Donovan and the Cardinals are set to travel to Bloomington, Illinois on Wednesday, March 1 for a CCIW match-up with the Illinois Wesleyan Titans. Match time in the Shirk Center is set for 7 p.m.
