United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

Aug. 18, 2023 - For the ninth time in the past 10 seasons, the United Soccer Coaches have named the North Central College men's soccer team as a Team Academic Award winner.

 A total of 819 soccer teams (317 men, 502 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. North Central is one of 186 schools that had both their men's and women's programs recognized. 

North Central is coming off the most successful season in program history as the Cardinals won both the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season and tournament championships. They also captured the program's first NCAA Tournament victory over the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

The Cardinals open the 2023 season in Erie, Penn. as they face Balwdin Wallace on Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. (ET). You can view their entire schedule HERE.
