Donovan Dubbed CCIW Setter of the Week

Jan. 22, 2024 - Tyler Donovan, a senior setter for the North Central College men's volleyball team, has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Setter of the Week, announced Monday afternoon.
 
Donovan is no stranger to this honor, as he received this distinction four times last season. Donovan has quite a resume as a setter, including leading the CCIW and Division III in assists per set last season (10.33). He also holds the program record for single-season assists (1,028).
 
In the Cardinals first match of the season against Dominican University, Donovan recorded 15 assists and one kill. On the defensive side, he tallied four digs and a block. Against Adrian College, Donovan totaled 24 assists and three kills. Donovan had two huge blocks against the Bulldogs and three digs.
 
Donovan and the rest of the Cardinals are back to the court at 7:30 pm Friday, Jan. 26, inside Merner Fieldhouse when they take on No. 6 California Lutheran University.
