AURORA, Ill. (Feb 6, 2024) - North Central College men's wrestling team took on Aurora University in a Conference College Illinois and Wisconsin matchup on Tuesday night taking the Spartans down 35-9. The team has now racked up 49 straight victories against conference opponents.  

In the 125-pound class, Christian Guzman opened the dual up and took down his opponent in five minutes with a 18-2 technical fall. For the 133-pound class Robert Precin improves to 7-0 for the season as he takes down his opponent with a pin in 4:06. Kenny Siwicki (149) matchup won with a 12-8 decision over Austin Abitua. 

In the 165-pound class match Alex Villar took down his opponent in 3:18 with a 17-2 technical fall. Cole Cervantes (184) won with a 21-3 technical fall in 4:13. For the 197-pound match, Elijah Brockie took down Angel Jaimes with a 4-2 decision.  In the last match, 285-pound, Robby Bates took home the win with a 3-0 decision over Cam'ron Harper. 

The Cardinals compete in one more home dual this season before postseason matchups begin. They will take on Concordia University of Wisconsin Feb 8, 2024.
