Sept. 10, 2024 - The North Central College men's soccer team earned their first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week award of the season, as Trevor Share was named Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
 
Share, a junior goalkeeper from Elgin, Ill., helped the Cardinals earn two consecutive wins over Trine University and Albion College last weekend. Share picked up his first shutout of the season on Sept. 6 as North Central took down Trine 2-0, he tallied three saves on the Thunders' three shots on net. Share did not face any shots in their game against Albion College.
 
The Cardinals are back in action tonight (Sept. 10), hosting No. 7 University of Chicago at 7:30 p.m. inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium in Naperville, Ill.
