WAUKESHA, Wis. (Nov. 1, 2025) - North Central College scored the game's first 58 points and never punted in a 64-7 rout of Carroll University on Saturday at Schneider Stadium. The Cardinals converted all six red zone chances and held the Pioneers scoreless until late in the third quarter.

Garret Wilson connected with Thomas Skokna for 52 yards on the fourth play of the game, setting up a seven-yard touchdown pass to Grant McAtee. Aidan Ellison added the extra point for a 7-0 lead.

The Cardinal defense forced a three-and-out, with Maverick Ohle and John Sullivan recording tackles for loss. Three straight plays to Jordan Williams moved the ball into Carroll territory before Jaylen Johnson hauled in a 39-yard touchdown pass from Wilson—his second straight week with a score. Ellison's point after made it 14-0 just six minutes in.

Another Carroll three-and-out gave North Central the ball back. Wilson converted a fourth-and-4 with a five-yard run, then found David Ballard III for a 33-yard touchdown—his first career score. Four straight runs on the next possession ended with a 17-yard touchdown from Donovan McNeal to make it 28-0.

To open the second quarter, the Cardinals marched 75 yards in seven plays, capped by Skokna's 16th touchdown catch of the season—fourth-most in program history. Carroll responded with its best drive of the half, but Eli Renick's 11-yard sack pushed the Pioneers out of field goal range. McNeal added his second touchdown to extend the lead to 41-0.

On the next play, Bobby Medina intercepted Charlie King and returned it 22 yards for a touchdown—his second straight week with a defensive score—as North Central led 48-0 at halftime.

Ethan Groark broke up a fourth-down pass to open the second half, and Ellison later hit a 36-yard field goal. Renick's second sack forced another punt, which Myles Walton returned 51 yards for a touchdown—the second straight week the Cardinals scored on a punt return.

Carroll broke through with a 35-yard touchdown pass from King to Daniel White in the third quarter. After a Danny O'Malley interception on the next Pioneer offensive possession, Galashky Blaise and Zeb Rashid moved the ball into Pioneer territory before Ellison hit a 44-yard field goal—his sixth from 40+ yards this season. Rashid's 30-yard run set up Ellison's final kick, a 32-yarder, to close out the 64-7 win.

North Central totaled 488 yards of offense, including 294 on the ground. McNeal ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries—his second straight 100-yard game. Wilson was nearly perfect, going 11 of 12 for four touchdowns and adding 29 rushing yards. Skokna led the Cardinals with 77 receiving yards and a touchdown. Matt Janiak tallied seven tackles as Sullivan (3.0), Ohle (2.0) and Renick (2.0) all recorded tackles for loss on the day. Medina and Danny O'Malley each caught an interception.

The Cardinals aim for their 50th consecutive College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin victory next Saturday at Elmhurst University. Kickoff is set for noon at Langhorst Field.
