Mar. 24, 2025 - After an upset win over No. 4 Carthage College and a win over Illinois Wesleyan University last week, the No.18 North Central College men's volleyball team's Tyler Donovan and Carson Steinbach were named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's (CCIW) Setter and Hitter of the Week, respectively.
 
Last Wednesday, the Cardinals took down No. 4 Carthage in a five-set victory in Gregory Arena. Donovan recorded a season-high 54 assists and earned seven kills. Donovan's performance ranks third in program history for assists in a single and five-set match. Steinbach led the team with a career-high 18 kills and sits seventh in program history for kills in a five-set match.
 
Both athletes continued to perform Saturday against Illinois Wesleyan. Donovan led the team with 24 assists, six kills, and three service aces. Steinbach once again led the team in kills (8).
 
This marks Donovan's 10th career CCIW award and Steinbach's second.
 
North Central will play their last non-conference match of the regular season Wednesday, Mar. 26, at 7 p.m. in Gregory Arena against No. 15 University of California Santa Cruz.
