Donovan Earns AVCA All-Region Accolades

Apr. 14, 2025 - For the second time in his career, Tyler Donovan of the North Central College men's volleyball team was selected as an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Region IV All-Region honoree.
 
There are a total of four AVCA region teams. Each region has 14 members of their respective All-Region teams, who are now all eligible for All-American selections announced later this month. Donovan is one of eight athletes representing the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).
 
Donovan had another excellent season on the court, finishing the season and leading the team with 533 assists. Additionally, Donovan ranks second on the team with 39 blocks and 16 service aces. He ranks fourth on the team with 122 digs and has tallied 277 kills.
 
Donovan was named to the First-Team All-CCIW and was a CCIW Setter of the Week twice this season.
 
North Central ended their season after falling to Loras College in the CCIW Tournament semifinals. In Kevin Kustura's first year coaching at North Central, the Cardinals earned a 15-7 record, including a 7-3 conference record.
