May 1, 2026 - North Central College women's soccer student-athletes Lily Mattison and Madison DeVriendt have been selected to the USA D-3 Soccer Team, which will compete on the program's Brazil Tour this summer.

The USA D-3 Soccer Team features NCAA Division III women's soccer players from across the country. The 17 student-athletes represent nine institutions and 12 home states, with selections including All-America, All-Region, and All-Conference honorees.

Mattison was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Goalkeeper of the Year and a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region selection after totaling 75 saves, a .773 save percentage, and a 1.01 goals-against average. She recorded a career-high 16 saves on Sept. 12 against Washington University in St. Louis.

DeVriendt earned USC All-Region honors as a second team selection and was also named First Team All-CCIW. She scored five goals in 2025, including two game-winners, and moved to fourth in career assists (24) and seventh in career points (56) in program history.

The USA D-3 Soccer Tour will run from May 25 through June 3. The team will travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is scheduled to play four matches in the city and state of Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

In addition to competition, the student-athletes will take part in educational, cultural, and social experiences through visits to local schools, clubs, and landmarks. While in Rio, the team will stay on Copacabana Beach and tour the Christ the Redeemer statue, Sugar Loaf Mountain, and Maracana Stadium.
