IWSOC/United Soccer Coaches Rankings
 
Sept. 22, 2026 – North Central College women's soccer has jumped two spots to No. 16 in the Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC) DIII Top 25 Coaches Poll in partnership with United Soccer Coaches.
 
The undefeated Cardinals have extended their win streak to 7-0 including two ranked wins over then-No. 16 Carleton College and then-No. 17 Calvin University. The Cardinals are just one of four teams in the top-25 with seven wins so far this season. North Central has recorded five shutouts and has allowed just two goals through seven contests.
 
As a team, North Central ranks 18th nationally in goals-against average (.286), 25th in the shutout percentage (.714) and 35th in save percentages (.889). Jordan Lange ranks 14th in the nation in total points this season with 16. She ranks 22nd in goals (6) and 25th in assists (4).
 
Lange currently leads all active Division III players with 117 career points and is tied for the lead with 31 assists. Across all divisions, Lange is tied for second in total points and sits tied for third in career assists.
 
Washington University in St. Louis is the top tea in the rankings with a 7-0-0 record to start the year. Washington & Lee University is second (4-0-0) followed by University of Chicago in third (6-0-0), Massachusetts Institute of Technology in fourth (7-0-1) and Tufts University in fifth (3-0-2).
 
In the Region VIII poll, the Cardinals are third behind WashU and UChicago.
 
North Central is set to open its CCIW slate at home on Saturday, Sept. 26 against Illinois Wesleyan University. They will then face No. 3 UChicago on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
