Biography
2012: Achieved indoor season bests of 54'10" in the shot put and 58'0 1/4" in the 35-pound weight throw. Placed fourth in the shot put and fifth in the weight throw at the CCIW Indoor Championships. Qualified for Division III Indoor Championships in the shot put, placing 13th. Posted outdoor season bests of 52'3 3/4" in the shot put, 160'5" in the discus throw and 177'6" in the hammer throw. Placed third in the shot put and discus throw and fifth in the hammer throw at the CCIW Outdoor Championships.
2011: Achieved indoor season best of 53'11 3/4" in shot put and broke his own North Central indoor record in 35-pound weight throw (63'6"). Competed at Division III Indoor Championships in both events, placing third in weight throw to earn All-America honors. Placed first in shot put and eighth in weight throw at CCIW Indoor Championships. Turned in outdoor season bests of 51'8 1/4" in shot put, 163'10" in discus throw, and 174'4" in hammer throw, provisionally qualifying for Division III Outdoor Championships in all three events. Placed second in discus throw at CCIW Outdoor Championships.
2010: Achieved indoor season best of 52'8" in the shot put and set a North Central indoor record with a distance of 59'4 1/4" in the 35-pound weight throw. Placed first in both events at CCIW Indoor Championships to earn CCIW Field Athlete of the Meet honors. Also qualified for NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships in both events... Achieved outdoor season best of 152'11" in the discus and 149'11" in the hammer... Provisionally qualified for the shot put at the CCIW Outdoor Championships, placing third with a toss of 51'06 1/4"...
2009: Achieved indoor season bests of 49'7" in shot put and 48'2 3/4" in 35-pound weight throw. Finished fifth in shot put and eighth in weight throw at CCIW Indoor Championships. Achieved outdoor season bests of 48'10" in shot put, 150'3" in discus throw and 139'9" in hammer throw. Placed fourth in shot put and sixth in discus throw at CCIW Outdoor Championships.
