Biography

2012: Started at inside linebacker. Led North Central with 79 tackles (47 solo), including 11.5 tackles for loss. Recorded season-high 14 tackles against Wheaton. Also recorded 3.5 sacks, two interceptions (including a 39-yard touchdown return against Illinois Wesleyan) and one pass breakup. Was named CCIW Defensive Player of the Week after recording 11 tackles and two tackles for loss at Wisconsin-Stout. First Team All-CCIW and Third Team All-North Region. Academic All-CCIW.

2011: Started at inside linebacker, leading North Central with 88 tackles (46 solo). Also recorded five tackles for loss, 1.5 quarterback sacks, two interceptions and six pass breakups. Recorded season-high 17 tackles against Wabash. Returned an interception 49 yards for a touchdown at Illinois Wesleyan. Second Team All-CCIW.

2010: Started at inside linebacker and played regularly on special teams. Finished second on the team with 51 tackles (27 solo) and broke up a pass. Was named CCIW Defensive Player of the Week following career-high 13-tackle performance against North Park. Academic All-CCIW. 

2009: Saw varsity action as a backup and on special teams. Made 22 tackles (14 solo), including two tackles for loss. Academic All-CCIW.
