The 2010 4x400-meter relay team of (from left) Jon Caron '13, Dayton Henriksen '13, Jon Howard '11 and Dan Benton '12 claimed the first 4x400-meter relay national championship in the history of the North Central College men's track and field program at the 2010 Division III Indoor National Championships at DePauw University.

The quartet ran a season-best time of 3 minutes, 17.22 seconds in the second of three heats, then clinched the title when the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's contingent won the third heat in 3:17.31.

The win gave the Cardinals national championships in three events, which played a a major role in North Central claiming its first indoor team championship since 1989.
