North Central College
Directions: Al B. Carius Track is located within the North Central College Residence Hall/Recreation Center on the south end of campus, on the east side of the athletic complex. Please click

Parking: Spectator parking will be available in the lot in front of Merner Field House (adjacent to the Res-Rec Center) and on the streets.
Meals/Lodging: Ideal options for hotels and restaurants may be found by visiting the City of Naperville Visitors Center website at
www.visitnaperville.com.
Results: Will be posted on the northwest wall of the facility as events are completed. Results will also be posted at
northcentralcardinals.com throughout the competition. Coaches should review event results - all results will be FINAL upon the conclusion of the meet.
Infield Restrictions: Team camps must be in the designated areas in the Res-Rec Center. Athletes should refrain from throwing footballs, frisbees, or objects on the infield. Non-competitors and fans must remain in the stands or designated areas on the 3rd floor. The infield is reserved for warm-up and check-in only.
Lawn and camp chairs are prohibited in the track area. Extra traffic becomes a distraction and creates an unsafe environment for competitors and meet management. Please enforce this with your coaching staff, families, and athletes.
Electronic devices (ie. cell phone, headphones, etc.) are prohibited in competition venues (ie. infield, track, throwing areas, jump areas).
Spikes:
1/4" pyramid spikes will be allowed for running/field events
Other Notes:
• Teams are responsible for recovering their camp areas (ie. implements, uniforms, garbage, etc.)
• Food will not be allowed in the competition area. Please keep food/drinks at the camp area.
• Tape will be allowed for marks; chalk will be provided to establish starting marks (field events)
• Refrain from gum chewing in the first floor.
• Unsportsmanlike behavior or failure to follow procedures by coaches or athletes will result in denial of future entries at North Central College.
Weigh-in Procedures: Athletes/coaches must weigh-in all throwing implements prior to competition. Please follow hours- weigh-ins will close on time.
Friday: 2:45pm-4:00pm (WT, Shot Put)
Weigh-ins will be at the throwing venue.
Illegal implements will be impounded. Coaches may pick up implements after competition.
Field Events:
Nine competitors will advance to finals for field events. Priority will be given to collegiate athletes.
Starting Heights:
• Women’s Pole Vault: 3.25m
• Men’s Pole Vault: 4.30m
• Women’s High Jump: 1.45m
• Men’s High Jump: 1.75m
Throwing Events:
All throwers will have the have the 1st round of throws measured. Following rounds must meet minimum marks for measurement.
Minimum marks:
Men’s Weight Throw: 12m
Women’s Weight Throw: 10m
Men’s Shot: 12m
Women’s Shot: 10m
Running events
First, second, and final calls will be given for each running event. Athletes are responsible for checking in with clerk or athlete will be scratched. Athletes will check-in at the “Clerk’s table” for each running event. A final relay card is required for the Clerk at check-in (DMR & 4x400m).
