The 4x400-meter relay team of Dan Benton '12, Dionte Hackler '14, Bai Kabba '13 and Mustapha Olaoye '15 claimed the Cardinals' second relay national title in the past three years with a victory at the 2012 Indoor Track & Field National Championships on March 10 in Grinnell, Iowa.

The foursome clocked a season-best time of 3 minutes, 16.11 seconds to win the crown, finishing just one hundredth of a second shy of tying the school record.

The victory helped cement the national title for North Central, its third straight at the indoor championships.
