2014 Naperville Super Regional


North Central qualified for the NCAA Division III Super Regional after winning the Central College Regional, going 3-0 to advance to the first-ever super regional.  The Cardinals played host to the University of St. Thomas in the two-team, double-elimination format with a trip to the National Championships on the line.  North Central dropped the opening game of the series 7-6 in nine innings, before bouncing back with a 12-2 win in game two, May 17.  In the rubber match the following afternoon, the Cardinals jumped out to a 4-1 lead early but could not hang on, falling in series finale 10-4
