Braden Nicholson National Champion Men's Track and Field- 2025 (Indoor 3k & Outdoor 10k) Leading the NCAA DIII Indoor Championship for the Cardinals was First-Team All-American, Nicholson in the 3000-meter run, where he nearly repeated his No. 19 all-time national time (8:07.30) with a victory in 8:07.39. Reflecting on his finish, Nicholson said, "Being supported by teammates and multiple other teams is such a great feeling when you put it all together and see the work pay off." He also explained how he felt during the turn that put him in first, "I've practiced that move many times now, in practice, in races, and at conference. So when I made it, and knew that nobody went with, I knew I was going to take it. It felt good to see that something I predicted and practiced months out actually happened.".  Nicholson started the weekend with a bang for the Cardinals. Nicholson earned his second National Championship title of the year, this time in the 10,000-meter race. Nicholson clocked a 29:20.59 finish.
