Brad Wood joined the North Central College staff in the fall of 2018 as an assistant coach for the baseball program and 

A four-year starter at NCAA Division I Northern Illinois University, Wood played in 204 career games, making 194 starts, finishing his career with a batting average of .279 while earning Mid-American Conference (MAC) first team all-conference honors in 2016.

A native of Orland Park, Illinois, Wood graduated from Northern Illinois in the spring of 2018 with a bachelors degree in kinesiology.
