Sing Fong '17 joined the North Central College staff prior to the 2018-19 academic year as a graduate assistant coach for the Cardinal's baseball program.

Fong was a four-year member of the baseball program, earning Academic All-CCIW honors twice, batting a career .305 over 121 games played.  He recorded 117 career hits, including 12 doubles, two triples and two homeruns, while driving in 61 and scoring 74 runs.  Fong successfully stole 32 of 37 stolen base attempts, while also appearing in two games on the mound, striking out three of the five batters he faced.

Fong also serves as a marketing director and baseball instructor at Play Ball USA, while also serving as head coach of the ITBC Illinois Dodgers.

A native of Northbrook, Illinois, Fong graduated from North Central in the spring of 2017 with a bachelor's degree with double majors in marketing and management.  He also received a master's degree in leadership studies from North Central in the spring of 2020.
