Tim Peraino ‘82 re-joined the Cardinal coaching staff in 2015 as an assistant coach, primarily focusing with the hitters and infielders.
Peraino graduated from North Central College in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree and a concentration in secondary education. After graduating, Peraino played semi-professional baseball for the Indianapolis Clowns from 1983-1984 before going to Australia to coach from 1986-1988 where he led his team to a league championship.
After his playing days, Peraino has been coaching and teaching young athletes at all levels. He began his career at Gordon Tech High School before heading to St. Benedicts High School. Peraino then returned to North Central and was an assistant coach from 1991-1998. While coaching he has given hitting lessons for kids ranging from 8-14 year olds, and has coached the Lemont Indians travel teams from 2002-2008.
He currently works for Lowery Macdonnell as a Sales Representative for school supplies, office furniture and equipment, and resides in Lemont, Ill. with his wife Karin and their two children.
