Daniel Packard joined the North Central College football staff prior to the 2022 season as a graduate assistant coach of the Cardinals' linebackers.
Packard was an All-District linebacker for Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas, helping lead the team to a state championship. He played collegiately at Hendrix College (Arkansas) before joining the team's coaching staff in 2019 as an assistant inside linebackers coach. After serving as a recruiting intern at Southern Methodist University (Texas) in spring 2021, Packard returned to Hendrix as outside linebackers coach for the 2021 season.
