Greg Jensik joined the North Central College coaching staff prior to the 2015 season as the Cardinals' tight ends coach. After coaching the Cardinals' wide receivers in 2022, Jensik will coach North Central's quarterbacks in 2023.
A native of Naperville, Jensik was a three-sport athlete at Naperville North High School, earning All-Conference honors in football and baseball, before graduating in 1990. He played wide receiver on the football team at Iowa State University for two years before transferring to Eastern Illinois University, where he caught passes for two years from North Central head coach Jeff Thorne.
Jensik led the Panthers in receiving in 1993 and 1994, earning All-Gateway Football Conference honors both seasons before graduating with a bachelor's degree in business finance in 1995. He is a 15-year coaching veteran at the high-school level, spending 11 years at Plainfield Central, three at Oswego East and one at Naperville North.
The owner and operator of Jensik Custom Builders, Inc., Jensik resides in Plainfield with his wife, Karen. They have two sons, Matthew and Christian.
