Liam Crotty '18 joined the North Central College coaching staff in fall 2018 as the kicking coach for the Cardinals' football program.
A four-year member of the North Central program from 2014-2017, Crotty was the primary placekicker for the Cardinals during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. He led the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) in points scored by kicking as a junior (83 points) and again as a senior (88).
In 2017, Crotty tied North Central's records for field goals made in a season (13) and in a single game (4, Sept. 16 vs. Illinois Wesleyan). He graduated as the Cardinals' all-time leader in field-goal percentage (.867) while ranking second in extra points made (108), fourth in field goals (21) and ninth in total points scored (173).
A native of Sandwich, Illinois, Crotty graduated from North Central in spring 2018 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast communication.
