Biography

2011: Started at wide receiver and was the one of the Cardinals' primary returners on special teams. Caught 18 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown, catching a season-high five passes for 56 yards Oct. 8 vs. Augustana. Returned a team-high 29 punts for 407 yards, recording season-long 47-yard punt returns vs. Augustana and Wabash. Returned seven kickoffs for 156 yards, including a 35-yard return at Millikin. Academic All-CCIW.

2010: Started at wide receiver, catching 25 passes for 433 yards. Tied for the team lead with five touchdown receptions, including an 88-yard TD catch at Elmhurst which ranks as the longest passing play in school history. Returned 13 kickoffs for 306 yards (23.5 per return) and returned 39 punts for 531 yards (13.6 per return) and one touchdown. Ranked second in CCIW and 16th in Division III in punt return average and returned a punt 66 yards against Carthage, completing the third-longest punt return in school history. Also gained 58 yards on eight rushing attempts. Named CCIW Special Teams Player of the Week following Oct. 23 win over Illinois Wesleyan and selected to All-CCIW First Team and All-North Region Second Team as return specialist. CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team. Academic All-CCIW.

2009: Started at wide receiver. Caught 18 passes for 401 yards and two touchdowns, including a 68-yard TD reception against Millikin. Returned nine kickoffs for 266 yards, including an 81-yard return against Elmhurst, and ran back 14 punts for 181 yards. Named CCIW Special Teams Player of the Week after victory over Elmhurst. Academic All-CCIW.

2008: Played as a backup at strong safety, as well as on special teams... made 21 tackles (13 solo), intercepted a pass, and recovered a fumble... made season-high five tackles at Olivet. Academic All-CCIW.
