A member of the North Central faculty since 1978, Gray has been a faculty mentor for the men’s track and field team since 2006.

“I think that my role is to be a resource to the team. Whether it be by assisting at practices and meets, bridging the gap between athletics and academics to ensure that the commitment to the classroom is at least as strong as the commitment to their sport, or providing career guidance based on my practical experience, I try to do whatever I can to help each student athlete to be the best that they can be both now and in the future.
