AJ Moyes

AJ Moyes joined the North Central College men's soccer coaching staff in January of 2025 as an assistant coach.

Moyes comes to campus having served as the assistant coach at Dominican University (Ill.) for three seasons. While working with the Stars, the program made three Northern Atlantic Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament appearances, winning the tournament in 2023 and earning an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament. Moyes coached four NACC All-Conference, three NCAA All-Region, and one NCAA All-American.

He has also served as a professional scout with the Nashville Soccer Club (MLS), a head coach for the USL2 Chicago Dutch Lions, and as a graduate assistant with Concordia University Chicago's men's soccer program.

Before his coaching career began, Moyes attended Wheaton College and played as a defender during the 2017-2019 and 2021 seasons. Moyes appeared in every match during his time with the Thunder. He was a two-time All-CCIW selection and served as a captain during his last two seasons.

Moyes graduated from Wheaton in the fall of 2021 with a degree in interpersonal communications and earned his master's degree in sports management at Concordia.
