Nora Schroedter '86, a North Central graduate and former member of the Cardinal women's swimming & diving program, has more than 35 years of experience as a swimming coach. She has coached both collegiately at the College of DuPage and at the high school level with Benet Academy and Neuqua Valley.
Coached Mihir Chandra to a school record in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.61 in the 2024 CCIW Championships.
In 1994, Schroedter was a founding coach of the Maverick Swim Club in Naperville and served as Team Illinois' Coach and Illinois' Swimming Development Camp Coach. Part of her role there was to counsel high school student-athletes on a college athletic path.
In addition to working at Maverick Swim Club, Schroedter served as a certified personal trainer and cycle/fitness instructor for the Warrenville Park District.
