Michael Connolly joined the North Central College men's and women's tennis coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach prior to the 2020-2021 academic year.
Connolly recently wrapped up his playing career at Illinois College where he was a four-year letter winner and team captain, finishing as the all-time winningest doubles player in program history while finishing his career ranked third in singles victories.
Connolly was a four-year academic all-conference recipient, and was named an Academic All-American by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in 2019. Connolly also served as a student assistant coach for the women's tennis team at Illinois College during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
A native of Woodstock, Georgia, Connolly graduated with a bachelors degree in business administration from Illinois College in the spring of 2019 and will be pursuing a masters degree in sports leadership from North Central.
