North Central College Cardinals

Tyler Bussell '19 joined the North Central College coaching staff prior to the 2019-2020 season as a graduate assistant coach for the Cardinals' women's tennis program.

Bussell played for the Cardinals' men's program for four seasons, and was a three year captain while leading the team in singles victories in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Bussell also led the team in doubles victories in 2017. Over his four-year career, Bussell finished with a 57-27 record in singles play, playing at all six positions.

Bussell has also been a tennis coach and site manager at  Five Star Tennis in Plainfield, Illinois since 2014. There he has managed operations at White Eagle Country Club tennis facilities and assisted in coordinating and operating United States Tennis Association (USTA) tennis events.

A native of Plainfield, Illinois Bussell graduated from North Central with bachelor's degrees in marketing and management and a minor in business administration.
