Kevin Messer ’19 joined the North Central College men’s volleyball coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2019.
A member of the inaugural men’s volleyball team in 2016, Messer recently finished his four-year career in a Cardinal uniform ranked sixth all-time in career digs with 335.
In addition to his position on the men’s volleyball staff, Messer also serves as Assistant Director of Volleyball Operations at Rip City Performance, while also serving as a High Performance Coach at USA Volleyball. In the fall of 2018, Messer worked as a student assistant coach for the North Central women’s volleyball program, with his main duties including forming scouting reports, developing practice plans and executing practice drills.
A native of Prospect Heights, Illinois, Messer graduated from North Central in June 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, along with minors in coaching and sociology. He will be pursuing a master’s degree in sports leadership.
