North Central College Cardinals

Matt Nelson joined the North Central College men's volleyball coaching staff prior to the 2025 season as a graduate assistant coach.

Nelson played collegiately at Aurora University where he earned All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference honors in 2023. Nelson was also a four-time Academic All-NACC selection. He served as a 2024 Great Lakes Region High Performance Girls Scout as well.

Nelson graduated from Aurora with degrees in business administration and sport management. He is pursuing a master's degree from North Central.
