Biography

2013: Started eight games and played in 26.  Was used primarily as a pinch hitter or designated hitter, but also did some catching.  Had a .161 average in 31 at-bats. 
 

2012: Played in 32 games for the Cardinals, starting in 23 of them. Posted a batting average of .239 for the 71 at bats. Compiled 17 hits and five runs during the season as well as batting in seven runs. Finished the season with a .976 fielding percentage.

2011: Played in 16 games for the Cardinals, making seven starts. Hit .308 on the season, driving in five runs while scoring an additional five times while boasting a .357 on-base percentage. NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete.
