Tom Kulawiak enters his 14th year on the North Central staff as an assistant coach in 2019.

Kulawiak has more than 30 years of softball experience, coaching girl’s 12-inch fast pitch and playing men’s 16-inch. He has won two national and four state championships and has been a two-time MVP, two-time all-state and two-time All-American pitcher at the men’s 16-inch softball level. His 1991 perfect game is recorded in the United States Slo-Pitch Softball Association Hall of Fame.

Due to his pitching prowess, his team's won 20 tournament championships and numerous league titles.  Further, the two main teams he pitch for, the Saints and Rebels, were each inducted into the American Softball Association (ASA) 16-inch Softball Hall of Fame in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

He received his business administration degree from Loyola University in 1980 and currently resides in Westmont, Ill., with his wife, Sharon, and daughter, Jordan.
