North Central College Cardinals

Mary Liebig joined the North Central College women’s basketball coaching staff as a graduate assistant in August 2025, ahead of the 2025-2026 season. 

As an undergraduate at Rice University, Liebig gained experience as an analytics assistant with the women’s soccer program during the 2021–2022 season. In 2022, she was also a mentee in the NFL Big Data Bowl and a participant in the NFL Women’s Forum.

Liebig's basketball background includes serving as an assistant coach at Elmhurst University during the 2024 season and working as a current AAU assistant coach with the Illinois Rockets based in Lisle, Illinois.

Liebig graduated from Rice University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Leadership at North Central.
