Kylor Berkman

Berkman joined the Cardinal lacrosse program prior to the 2022-2023 season. He has 15 years of coaching experience across all levels of lacrosse including a decade at the collegiate level. He was the former Men's Head Coach at Aurora University 113-28 overall record and 56-2 in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference with six regular season and tournament championships as well as 3 NCAA Sweet 16 Appearances.
 
Berkman was drafted to play Major League Lacrosse in 2009 by the Baltimore Bayhawks and also played LXM Pro as well as Semi-Professional Box Lacrosse.
 
As a player for the Salisbury University Sea Gulls, Berkman had a tremendous four-year career having been named the NCAA National Lacrosse Player of the Year in Division III as a junior in 2008. He was also a three-time NCAA Most Outstanding Midfielder, three-time Division III All-American, three-time All-Capital Conference first-team selection, two-time captain and was multiple times selected the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week. In addition to his on field accolades at Salisbury, Berkman was an NCAA Academic All-American, Capital Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete and served on the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).
 
Berkman earned a bachelor’s degree in business management (2008) with a minor in coaching and earned his MBA with a focus in Leadership in 2015. Currently a VP at True Lacrosse, overseeing the midwest territories. Lives in Downers Grove with his wife, Coach Barakos-Berkman, their son Achilles and dog Luna.
