Caitlin Richards joined the North Central College women's soccer coaching staff prior to the 2026 season as a goalkeeper coach.
Richards played professionally for Logan Lightning FC in Brisbane, Australia. She also serves as the director of community programs at Chicago Edge Soccer Club, where she coaches three youth teams.
Richards was a five-year goalkeeper at the University of Northern Iowa and finished with program records for career shutouts at 20 and minutes played in goal at 6,499, along with the second-lowest career goals-against average at 1.22. Her honors include CSC Academic All-District recognition in 2024, three MVC Scholar-Athlete selections, multiple MVC academic awards and MVC All-Tournament Team distinction. In 2023, her 1.15 goals-against average ranked second in program history, while her six shutouts were the third-highest single-season total.
