A member of the North Central faculty since 2008, Dr. Schacht has been a faculty mentor since 2017 and, most recently, became the women's soccer faculty mentor in 2025.

"I am excited to have a mentoring relationship with the female athletes outside of the classroom. I think this program gives students an opportunity to see their professors in a less formal role and to interact with them in a different setting. Plus, my family and I really love attending the games and cheering on the Cardinals!"
