Tim Huizinga joined the North Central College staff prior to the 2018 season as a graduate assistant coach for the men's volleyball program and remained on staff as an assistant coach for the women's team following his two-year stint as a GA.
Huizinga played collegiately at NCAA Division II Lindenwood University, where he was a four-year member of the men's volleyball team, serving as team captain his senior season.
Huizinga was also a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) during his time at Lindenwood, while earning Academic All-America honors all four years and graduating with bachelor degrees in marketing and finance in 2014. He also assisted with the women's volleyball program while at Lindenwood, serving as a student assistant coach.
Huizinga also has addition coaching experience, serving as a head coach at Ultimate Volleyball Club in Frankfort, Ill.
He graduated with a master's degree in business administration from North Central in June 2019.
